1855 The Bottle Shop kicks off Carnival of Wines & Spirits

Alcohol retailer 1855 The Bottle Shop will be launching its four-day Carnival of Wines & Spirits retail exhibition at United Square from Thursday 27 July to Sunday 30 July 2017.

1855 The Bottle Shop, the same folks behind wine and spirits exhibition 1855 Wine & Whisky Week, has introduced yet another alcohol bonanza with its new Carnival of Wines & Spirits (COWS) that will see over 450 labels of wine, spirits, sake and beer from all around the world this weekend. The free-to-attend retail event will feature internationally-acclaimed brands such as Chateau Talbot, Montes, Bottega, Dom Perignon, Yamazaki and The Balvenie, some of which will be offered at discounts of up to 50 percent. Other brands include Masi Costasera Amarone, Macallan, Napue Gin, the award-winning Ichishima Competition Daiginjo sake, as well as craft beer brands such as London’s Meantime. You’ll also find new-to-market products such as Suntory’s Chita whisky and Yamazaki Distillery Reserve Casked Umeshu.

“Hosting the Carnival of Wines & Spirits in July is an ideal cause for an even bigger celebration as we bridge together the Great Singapore Sale and 1855 The Bottle Shop’s 7th anniversary,” says Patrick Sng, Group CEO of 1855 The Bottle Shop.

“We are truly proud of our collective accomplishments thus far, having been recognised as the ‘Best Wine Retailer’ 2 years in a row by World Gourmet Summit, and Singapore Tatler respectively. This is the perfect opportunity to offer unparalleled level of customer engagement and to better reward them for their strong support all these years,” Sng adds.

When asked how would Carnival of Wines & Spirits differ from Wine & Whisky Week, Sng shares that 1855 The Bottle Shop had listened to their customers on the back of the event held earlier this year. “COWS will up the ante to go beyond a widespread selection of country-specific wines and spirits, by also offering a handpicked selection of beers and sake due to an integral understanding of consumers’ increasing demand for (product) diversity from the successful Wine & Whisky Week held in April,” explains Sng.

1855 The Bottle Shop Carnival of Wines & Spirits will take place from 27 – 30 July, Thursday – Sunday (11am – 9pm) at United Square Basement 1 Atrium, 101 Thomson Road.
