As part of 1855 Wine & Whisky Week, 1855 The Bottle Shop is hosting a whisky masterclass on Sunday 23 April 2017 at Bistro 1855 from 4pm to 5pm featuring the whiskies of Highland Park, including its newest limited edition release Highland Park Fire Edition.
Orkney-based Highland Park is the northerly most distillery in Scotland, and for this whisky masterclass esteemed sommelier Gerald Lu of Praelum Wine Bistro will be guiding the tasting of the following expressions:
Aside from the highly-acclaimed 18YO, participants will get to be one of the first in Singapore to experience the special limited edition Highland Park Fire Edition, of which less than 100 bottles are to be released in Singapore. The Fire Edition follows on from the release of Ice Edition and this completes the two-part series of special edition bottlings which celebrate stories emerging from the Viking age. Fire Edition features spirit that has been matured in 100% refill Port wine seasoned casks – a first for Highland Park.
