Leading supermarket chain Cold Storage will be holding its 11th International Wine Fair 2018 (IWF 2018), featuring over 300 different wines from all over the world, at the Atrium of Plaza Singapore from 8 to 14 October 2018.

For wine enthusiasts, the International Wine Fair by Cold Storage has always been one of the consumer events to look out for especially when hunting for more affordable bottles in the value segment of the wine market. This year’s edition promises to be more of the same, and for an entrance fee of just $10, shoppers at Plaza Singapura can get to sample over 60 different wines out of the 300 bottles that will be on offer during the week.

Out of the 300 wines specially handpicked by Dairy Farm Regional Category Director of Beer, Wine & Spirits, Mr Simon Cant, expect around 70 of those to be new to the Singapore market. They range from a value $25 Spanish red to a $400 classified Bordeaux. Wines you can look forward to include the Charmer Sauvignon Blanc and Wairau River Pinot Noir from Marlborough, New Zealand; Les Vins De Vienne Viognier of Rhone Valley, France; and the the Jean Bouchard Meursault from Bourgogne, France. A number of winemakers and winery representatives will be on hand across the week to guide your tasting experience.

If you’re feeling peckish, you can add more to your wine tasting experience with a cheeseboard comprising three types of cheese and two varieties of salami, for just $15.

“We want to make wines accessible for everyone, we have entry-level wines and tipples for those looking for very specific flavor portfolios,” says Cant. “We hope to inculcate a love of wine into everyone who visits the IWF 2018.” With such thought put behind the selections, patrons can be assured of the quality on display.”

IWF 2018 will also feature exclusive promotions such as an additional 10% off with every 12 bottles purchased in a single receipt (terms and conditions apply).
