Online retailer Artisan Selections offers a curated assortment of specialty fine goods from across Australia, including fine wines, spirits and beers.

There are plenty of places online where you can buy booze, but perhaps none quite as focused as Artisan Selections when it comes to alcoholic offerings from Australia. Conceived by five well travelled lovers from Australia and Singapore, Austrade-endorsed Artisan Selections is an online platform aimed at connecting F&B artisans from Australia directly with consumers when it comes to craft produce.

“Where most online purveyors are expert generalists and cater to huge swathes of the population, we’re very particular about the methods of the artisans and the provenance of the produce,” says Adrian Mah, Chief Marketing Officer of Artisan Selections.

That specific focus on artisanal Australian produce – they currently represent around 40 producers from Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania – also means some small batch wines, craft beers and artisanal spirits. For now these are mainly sourced from South Australia; for wines there’s Adelaide Hills-based Main & Cherry and Islander Estate of Kangaroo Island, and Turnbull Wines from Barossa Valley. There’s a couple of craft beer brands too with Goodieson Brewery and Barossa Valley Brewing, and spirits from the likes of Kangaroo Island Spirits and Adelaide Hills Distillery.

“At Artisan Selections, we are also focused on empowering artisans in Australia who are still very much in touch with their traditional methods to help them be export ready and have the ability to share their products with the rest of the world,” says Richard Leong, Chief Executive Officer of Artisan Selections.

The platform allows visitors from over nine cities including Singapore, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Taipei and Tokyo, to purchase craft produce and spirits without having to travel to Australia. Do note that prices on Artisan Selections are listed in Australian dollars.
