Friday evenings at MO Bar is vermouth happy hour; that’s two hours of happiness over vermouth-based cocktails and charcuterie.

There’s your regular happy hour – which is usually just bucket deals at your ubiquitous city bar – and then there are truly special happy hour promotions. Here’s one of them – a vermouth happy hour.

MO Bar at Mandarin Oriental recently introduced an ongoing happy hour promotion for Fridays that aperitivo aficionados would certainly love – its “Vermouth and Charcuterie” promotion allows guests to enjoy two hours free flow of vermouth-based cocktails every Friday at the price of just $68++ per person. That’s five different classic Italian aperitivo cocktails, including the likes of the refreshing Americano with Campari, sweet vermouth and soda water, the Cocchi Spritz with Cocchi Rossa and grapefruit tonic, to the pleasantly bitter Milano Torino with Campari and sweet vermouth.

The promotion also includes a charcuterie selection of seasonal cold cuts, cheeses and breads for you to graze on so you don’t get too heady downing too many tipples too quickly. For those with smaller appetites, there’s enough here to fill up on too so you don’t quite need dinner.

Not too familiar with MO Bar at the Mandarin Oriental? It’s a chic yet comfortable cocktail bar within the hotel that has an eclectic cocktail list that pays tribute to cultures from across the region that the hotel chain operates in. But MO Bar also boasts Italian native Michele Marrioti as head bartender, which promises that the vermouth-based aperitivo cocktails you’re going to get – despite this being happy hour – will be top-notch and on point.

But hey if you’re not a fan of vermouth-based cocktails, don’t forget it’s ‘Champagne and Oysters’ on Wednesdays instead.

MO Bar’s ongoing ‘Vermouth and Charcuterie’ happy hour deal runs for two hours free flow every Friday between 6pm and 9pm.
