Explore Chile’s wine region of Patagonia while glamping it out in Torres del Paine National Park with the Patagonia Camp Wine & Nature Week.

If you travel for wine, here’s a South American adventure you may want to add to your list. Patagonia Camp – one of the first luxury camps in South America – is organising a Wine & Nature Week, a decadent week-long getaway in Chile that brings you to one of the remotest parts of the world and lets you enjoy plenty of wine and good food at the same time.

The Wine & Nature Week takes you to Torres del Paine National Park in the wine region of Patagonia, Chile, amidst a landscape that combines wild beauty and stretches of planted vineyards. Travellers get to camp in Patagonia Camp’s luxurious ‘glamping’ grounds – which offer accommodations in yurts with full five-star amenities while still being close to nature – for three to four nights, right at the edge of Lake Toro, the largest lake in the Magallanes region of Chile.

The experience also includes a two-night stay at the La Casona hotel in Santiago that comes complete with tastings of Chilean wines, meals, luxurious comforts and guided tours at Chilean winery Viña Matetic.

Gourmands are likely to also enjoy the gastronomic experience as part of Patagonia Camp. Its restaurant brings together the best of Patagonia’s local resources to create fresh, healthy and delicious meals crafted from the region’s best produce, including salmon, lamb, crabs and vegetables, all of which are paired with the region’s wines.

Prices for the five-night Patagonia Camp Wine & Nature Week range between US$2,149 to US$4,109 per person depending on single or double rooms and the season.
