From now till January 2021, enjoy special Hi5SG deals at participating F&B restaurants even as you rediscover the joys of dining and drinking out.
Independent restaurant coalition #savefnbsg recently launched Hi5SG, a nation-wide dining promotion campaign that looks to give back to the F&B industry, incentivising consumers to dine, and helping underprivileged communities at the same time. As part of Hi5SG, around a hundred participating F&B establishments are offering special deals to entice consumers to explore and discover new dining experiences they may not otherwise do so.
From now till January 2021, local F&B businesses – including independent cafes, hole-in-the-wall gastro-bars, and even Michelin-starred restaurants, are each rolling out special dining experiences themed around the number “5”, such as $5 dishes and drinks, 55% off and $55 set menus.
Part of the proceeds (ranging from $1 to $5) from the Hi5SG experiences goes to =DREAMS, a residential-based intensive educational program that mentors underprivileged children in order to rechart their lives for a bright future. Selected restaurants will also do their part by providing a matching donation despite tough times. Hi5SG aims to raise a total of S$300,000 for its official beneficiary =DREAMS.
#savefnbsg was formed during the days of Singapore’s dreaded circuit breaker period, banding together restaurant operators to support each other during a time when coronavirus was in the process of devastating the country’s F&B industry. Hi5SG continues that spirit of unity. The initiative is supported by Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board as part of SingapoRediscovers, to encourage the continuation of business recovery amidst the ongoing COVID pandemic.

Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall.

Brass Lion Distillery.
Brass Lion, Singapore’s first fully-fledged micro-distillery, has put together a Hi5SG package of two of its Sunset Slings with pulled pork tacos and cured meats and cheese for $55.
Brotzeit.
Casual German chain restaurant Brotzeit is offering at its various outlets a $55 bundle that includes its signature Pork Knuckle as well as two pints of draft beer.

Specially for beer lovers, BTM Mussels & Bar – which specialises in Belgian-style mussel pots – is spotlighting a beer bucket promotion of $50++ for five Estrella or Hoegaarden beers.
The Horse’s Mouth.
Japanese influenced cocktail bar has a dine-in promotion for a choice of its Barachirashi Don, Wagyu Shingureni Don, Unagi Kabayaki Don, or Signature Ramen, that comes along with two of any of its signature cocktails.
