Gudsht @ Cineleisure is Gudsht’s new standalone gastrobar, offering its slew of fun cocktails along with Asian-inspired bar food.

Gudsht is on a roll. The bottled cocktail brand by Elite Bar Solutions has launched a new outlet mere months after kicking off its first brick-and-mortar home Gudsht @ King George in a shared space with The Refinery, and this time it’s its own space at Cinelesiure. Gudsht @ Cineleisure is a quaint bistro smack in the middle of Singapore’s premier shopping belt Orchard Road that combines a fun approach to cocktails with Asian-inspired grub for a jolly good time.

Tucked in an obscure corner of Cineleisure’s first floor, Gudsht @ Cineleisure is as casual as it gets. You’re looking at a space throbbing with retro vibes, complete with bright pink neon lights, industrial fixtures, and bare cement walls that you just know is going to attract a youthful crowd.

Part of the reason is for the cocktails. Like its shared space at King George, its Cineleisure outlet is a veritable showcase for Gudsht’s range of funky bottled cocktails. You can expect to partake of the likes of its signature Unicorn Barf – launched at the height of Singapore’s circuit breaker period to great success – as well as Deeznuts, their nutty twist of the Old Fashioned.

Exclusive bottled cocktails at Gudsht @ Cineleisure
Exclusive bottled cocktails at Gudsht @ Cineleisure include Frooty Booty and Nacho Hombrè.

But what you should opt for are their brand-new cocktails exclusively available at their latest outlet. There’s Frooty Booty, a vodka and calpis concoction that tastes wholly like an alcoholic version of your favourite yoghurt mixed with breakfast cereal. Alternatively, the Nacho Hombrè is a spicy version of the margarita that uses tequila that’s been (shockingly) soaked with nacho chips. If that sounds bizarre, be assured that the tipple tastes a lot better than it sounds.

And if highballs are your thing, there are fun Jim Beam highball towers – in Honey Lemon and Sour Plum flavours – that you can order to share around the table.

Then there is it’s rather affordably-priced food. Gudsht @ Cineleisure offers a range of drinks-friendly bar food that’s focused around Japanese sumiyaki-style grilled items. Classic yakitori offerings include Chicken Thigh, Mid Joint Wing, Chicken Heart, and Tsukune Ball skewers, all of which make great drinking food. Other fun eats include the Gudsht Wings – these are buffalo-style wings that come in both shoyu pepper and a fusion Asian sauce – as well as a chunky Beef Croquette that’s more beef than croquette.

“GudSht @ Cineleisure is pure, 100% GudSht. We’ve always envisioned bigger things for the brand and have worked tirelessly over the past year to make this happen, and we’re beginning to see our vision come to fruition now with the opening of GudSht @ Cineleisure, our second bar opening this year,” shared Turaiya Noor, Creative Cat at GudSht.

“As a standalone GudSht-branded space, GudSht @ Cineleisure gives us the opportunity to translate the brand ecosystem into a physical space without diluting our brand persona – which is delivering a light-hearted but high-quality approach to food and beverage,” Noor aded.

Sounds like there’s more to come from Gudsht just yet.
