On weekends, modern Chinese restaurant Madame Fan offers Dim Sum, Drink Sum, a free-flow brunch spread that combines dim sum, modern Cantonese favourites, and various booze options.

Swanky mod-Chinese restaurant and bar Madame Fan at The NCO Club has an open secret – it’s home to one of the best Chinese weekend brunches in town. Even better, it comes with a free-flow booze option that would surely interest the most avid tipplers among us.

The Madame Fan Dim Sum, Drink Sum is a weekend brunch deal available on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays that, for S$78++ per person, you get to enjoy two hours worth of free-flow ala carte dining from its dim sum and Cantonese classics menu. It’s certainly a great deal for those with prodigious appetites. You’re looking at the likes of Shumai, Har Gau, and Siew Long Bao, or even Spare Ribs or Chicken Feet for those who love such traditional dim sum classics.

Highly recommended are the deep-fried Sesame Prawn Toast, as well as the Fried Ham Sui Gok.

You can also opt for various popular favourites in the Cantonese classics menu curated by Madame Fan’s Head Chef Mike Tan. Choices include a tangy Hot and Sour Soup, Australian Striploin that’s diced and wok-tossed with Sarawak black pepper, Jasmine Tea Smoked Ribs, and an absolutely moreish Aubergine Tofu Claypot, among many others.

Then there’s the Drink Sum part of Dim Sum, Drink Sum. An addendum of S$58++ gets you free flow cocktails, wines, and beers. Madame Fan has an Asian-inspired cocktail bar, and for this brunch there are five cocktail options – the crisp gin-based Mo Li Hua Fizz, a fruity yet bitter highball that is the Rooibos Americano, the punchy whisky-based Golden Elixir, the complex Portofino, and a refreshingly spicy East Mule. We’d also recommend that you top up a further S$10 for free-flow champagne as well, in this case, the Perrier Jouët Grand Brut.

Top up a further S$68++ and get free-flow Perrier Jouët Grand Brut in addition to cocktails, wines, and beers.

We’ll recommend you write the rest of your weekend off, though. Chances are you’ll be stumbling out of Madame Fan after such a hefty meal and needing to sleep it all off.

The Madame Fan Dim Sum, Drink Sum weekend brunch is available from 11am to 3.30pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays at S$78++ per person (food only), S$136++ (including free flow cocktails, wines and beers), or S$146++ (including free flow cocktails, champagne, wines and beers). Reservations required.
