World’s largest online wine marketplace and wine ratings app Vivino is set to open Vivino Wine Shop in Singapore at Raffles City Shopping Centre this September.
Here’s one wine retail shop you don’t have to be too embarrassed about when pulling out your Vivino app to check for prices. Online wine marketplace Vivino – which is behind of that popular wine ratings app – is set to open a wine store right here in Singapore.
Vivino Wine Shop, when it opens this September at Raffles City Shopping Centre, will be Vivino’s first-ever brick-and-mortar store in the world. Occupying some 2,000 square-feet on the first floor of Raffles City, Vivino Wine Shop is set to offer over 100 wines labels all of which are rated 4.0 and above on its app.
More importantly, Singapore wine lovers can expect not only rare and limited edition wines some of which will debut in the city state for the first time, but also access some of the highly-rated wines at prices as low as S$19.90.
And it’s not just purely retail. Aside from shelves upon shelves of bottles, there’s a tasting bar at Vivino Wine Shop for wine lovers to sample and enjoy their choice wine tipples. The open-concept Vivino Wine Bar will rotate a selection of wines by the glass as well as also offer a selection of tapas for your wine pairing pleasure.
“We built the Vivino app to help people drink better wine, and seeing this vision come to life in a physical space is truly a dream come true for me. For the first time ever, you can walk into a store and pick up a great wine every time, curated by tens of millions of Vivino users around the world,” shares Heini Zachariassen, founder of Vivino.
Vivino Wine Shop Singapore is located at 252 North Bridge Rd, #01-44B Raffles City Shopping Centre, Singapore 179103. It will open to the public on 19 September 2024.
