St. Regis Singapore celebrates World Champagne Day on 25 October with Ruinart Champagne Month, an entire series of bubbly fun at its establishments The Astor Grill, Astor Bar, and Yan Ting.
Time to pop up a bottle of Champagne this month with World Champagne Day just right around the corner on 25 October. And there’s no better place to do it than at St. Regis Singapore, especially if you’re a fan of Ruinart – the five-star luxury hotel on Orchard Road is commemorating the occasion with month-long festivities this October across its various venues in collaboration with the celebrated Champagne producer.
Champagne has, of course, been a revered component of the St. Regis heritage and tradition. In fact the hotel honours the timeless tradition of champagne sabrage every evening at its grand staircase, with an accredited sabreur popping the cork off a bottle of champagne in front of guests in grand fashion.
It’s this and more during Ruinart Champagne Month. Throughout October, signature St. Regis dining establishments – Yan Ting, The Astor Grill, and Astor Bar – will offer their own special champagne promotions featuring Ruinart.
The Astor Grill combines two beloved rituals – champagne and afternoon tea – with its Pinktober Afternoon Tea (S$75++ pp) where guests are treated to a selection of savoury canapes, pastries, sweet treats that comes with a glass of R de Ruinart Brut NV champagne. Specifically on World Champagne Day on 25 October, the recently reimagined modern steakhouse will present an exquisite five-course Ruinart Champagne Dinner experience complemented by a selection of Ruinart champagnes. Otherwise there’s its Sunday Champagne Brunch (S$228++ pp), where guests can indulge in a lavish seafood spread with free flow pours of R de Ruinart Brut NV.
Revered Cantonese restaurant Yan Ting similarly presents its own Dim Sum Champagne Brunch (S$248++ pp), where its popular dim sum classics likewise come with complimentary flow of the R de Ruinart NV Brut for a most indulgent brunch repast.
Over at Astor Bar sees the hotel’s house cocktail lounge offer up three exclusive champagne cocktails (S$26++ per glass), otherwise the classic pairing of a glass with three oysters (S$34++) will set you in the right mood.
Or you can purchase an entire bottle of Ruinart at The Astor Grill and Astor Bar, which will see them roll up for a tableside champagne sabrage experience.
