Leading international bar and beverage trade show Bar Convent Singapore makes its highly-anticipated return with its second edition running 3-4 March 2025 at Marina Bay Sands.
Singapore will continue to cement its reputation as a regional cocktail and drinks capital when it hosts its second Bar Convent Singapore (BCB Singapore) in March next year. The Singapore offshoot of Bar Convent Berlin – one of the leading trade conventions for the global bar and beverage industry – was first introduced in 2023, with its inaugural edition drawing over 2,000 attendees to its curated showcase of over 150 global spirits brands from around the world.
Bar Convent Singapore 2025 is set to reprise that success. The new instalment again promises an exciting program of expert-led talks, interactive workshops, and product showcases, along with various activations – such as guest bartender shifts and pop-ups – around the Lion City.
This year the event will focus on four key pillars of education — Business, Community, Creativity, and Innovation — delivering targeted sessions on topics like business ownership, people management, liquid education, social media marketing, and consumer trends. Trade visitors can expect a diverse array of insightful sessions featuring top global and regional talent and thought leaders designed to meet the needs of the industry.
Presenting speakers include Danil Nevsky, Founder & CEO at Indie Bartender; Carina Soto Velasquez, Co-Founder of Paris-based Quixotic Projects; Hyacinthe Lescoët, Co-Founder of The Cambridge Public House and Co-Owner of Little Red Door, Paris, and Bannie Kang, Co-Founder of Side Door, Singapore, who will also headline the event.
With agave spirits continuing to be an enduring trend around the world, Bar Convent Singapore 2025 will see a special collaboration with Club Cantina – an educational platform with the mission to share the knowledge of and promote agave distillates all around the world – for a series of exclusive masterclasses and presentations led by leaders in the global agave industry such as Iván Saldaña, co-founder and master distiller of Casa Lumbre; Graciela Angeles Carreño, Co-Owner of Real Minero; and Jesse Este, Global Ambassador of Tequila Ocho.
“Collaboration has always been the heartbeat of the beverage industry, bringing together diverse ideas and innovations that transcend borders,” says Henry Stonham, Project Manager of Bar Convent Singapore. “More than just creating a space, we want to foster a community where industry professionals can connect, inspire one another, and ignite the spark of creativity that drives us all forward.”
“As Asia’s bar scene continues to gain global recognition, this is a crucial moment for the industry to equip its professionals with the tools they need to learn, innovate, and elevate the region’s rich talent. By fostering growth and inspiration, we can ensure that Asia remains at the forefront of the global bar culture,” Stonham concludes.
