Longstanding restaurant Beirut Grill marks 15 years of serving up its signature Middle Eastern flavours at Bussorah Street.

Not many restaurants can say that they’ve survived 15 years in Singapore’s highly-competitive F&B scene. But Beirut Grill certainly can, the pioneering Middle Eastern restaurant enduring – and even thriving – along the brutal Bussorah Street stretch where so many other eateries offer similar fare, championing a cuisine that’s not exactly among the most popular in town.

It must be doing Lebanese food right. Indeed this veritable Kampong Glam culinary institution is a treasure trove of Middle Eastern flavours since opening in 2009, its burgeoning mezze platters, healthy salads, and hearty grilled kebabs offering a transportative gastronomic journey to the vibrant, rambunctious streets of Beirut.

To commemorate its 15th anniversary, Beirut Grill has crafted new dishes for its menu that retains the soul and traditions of Lebanese cuisine, but also spiced up with some contemporary flair. And most importantly, with the understanding that palates and trends have evolved over the years.

You'll be spoilt by the selection of hot and cold mezze here.

Like sharing plates, for example. While the Western world has really jumped into the concept of communal dining in recent decades, sharing at the dining table is pretty di rigueur in the Middle East. And at Beirut Grill, there’s an entire selection of hot and cold mezze perfect for sharing.

Among the new dishes? We recommend to start your meal with Hummus and Muhammara, and using freshly baked pita bread to mop up the creamy chickpea dip or the spicy bell pepper- and walnut-based relish, both of which have been seasoned perfectly with imported Lebanese spices for the most authentic of flavours.

Then there is the Fattoush Salad, which is becoming increasingly popular among those who prefer to dine healthy. This colourful salad comes with plenty of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and fried pita for a riot of flavours and textures, and is even filling enough to be a main for those with smaller appetites.

Seafood lovers will be happy with Beirut Grill’s latest addition to their menu; the Grilled Prawns comes served with very spicy harissa that you’ll want some rice or pita with to mitigate the heat.

You can't go wrong with kebabs at Beirut Grill.

For carnivores or those in the mood for something a little heavier, the meaty Lamb Shank with saffron rice is a must. This is New Zealand lamb well marinated with Arabic herbs and spices to remove excessive gaminess, and then braised until fork-tender. Another version features a whole butterflied spring chicken, for those with lighter appetites or squeamish about lamb. Each come as a generous portion, and enough to share between three to four diners.

Beirut Grill has also unveiled various promotions to continue celebrating its anniversary. There’s happy hour on weekdays with special drink deals for those who need a tipple or two before dinner, while women get to sip on free-flow Prosecco on Ladies’ Night every Wednesday. There’s even belly dancing for entertainment while you dine on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, while there’s also a new brunch deal available on weekends.

“We are immensely proud to celebrate 15 years at the heart of Bussorah Street, standing as a testament to the love and loyalty of our guests,” said Haifa Rekhi, Head of Operations and People Experience of Beirut Grill. “This anniversary marks not just our success, but the countless memories we’ve created with our guests. We cannot wait to continue this journey of sharing Lebanon’s vibrant food, culture, and hospitality.”
