For one night only, Mitzo will be holding a five-course whisky-pairing dinner on Friday 15 March 2019 from 7 to 9pm featuring the lowland whiskies of Auchentoshan.
For this dinner, Jamey Merkel, brand ambassador for Beam Suntory, Southeast Asia, will be on hand to present the whiskies for the food pairings at modern contemporary Chinese restaurant Mitzo.
The special menu, created by Mitzo’s Executive Head Chef Nicky Ng, begins with a serving of Crispy Herbal Duck paired with Auchentoshan Three Wood. This is followed by Baked Truffle Codfish with Egg White. that comes with the elegant 12 Year Old.
Mitzo crowd favourite “Si Chuan” Styled Barbecued Pork will be paired with Auchentoshan 18 Year Old, followed by a bowl of Braised Noodles with Scallops.
For dessert, indulge in the liquid dessert/cocktail “Scottish Field”. Created by Head Bartender Azlam Kadir, this decadent treat is made with Auchentoshan 12 Year Old, Licor 43, Scrappy Bitters, Angostura Bitters, Goji Berry Syrup and Coffee Foam.
