As part of Zafferano’s Winemaker Dinner Series, the Italian restaurant and lounge will be hosting a wine dinner on Tuesday 10 October 2017 at 7pm featuring the exceptional and esteemed wines of Italian winery Avignonesi.
This 5-course wine dinner will be hosted by Chen Xi, Asia manager for Avignonesi, who will present the wines from the Tuscany-based winery – located near Montepulciano and Cortona – that will be paired with dishes immaculately curated by Zafferano head chef Marco Guccio. Guests will get to try the following wines:
Of particular note is the 50&50 Toscana IGT 2004, a Super Tuscan – made with a blend of 50% Sangiovese and 50% Merlot – that sprung from a friendship between the owners of Avignonesi in Montepulciano and Capannelle in Chianti Classico.
