The Botanist presents: Erik Lorincz, Head Bartender of American Bar at the Savoy London

For one-night only on Friday 18 March from 9pm to midnight, Fairmont Singapore’s Anti:Dote will play host to one of the most of the most renowned cocktail establishments, the American Bar at the world famous Savoy. Head bartender Erik Lorincz will take the helms of Anti:Dote alongside head craftsman Tom Hogan for a night of sensational cocktails. Favoured by celebrities and famed for its outstanding cocktail innovation for over a century, guests will be treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience as the Savoy comes to Singapore.

Erik Lorincz has been a household name and icon on the global bartending stage, having won many international awards and worked at numerous prestigious establishments in his career. He was named International Bartender of the Year by Tales of the Cocktail in 2009. Erik is American Bar’s 11th head bartender.

Erik will be shaking and stirring up his own personally created concoctions focused around The Botanist gin and Bruichladdich Islay whisky, including the likes of:

• Abbey Road (Botanist gin, Martini Rubino, fresh yuzu, sugar syrup and citrus dust);
• Policeman Hook (Bruichladdie Classic Laddie, roasted Kombe vermouth, aromatic bitters, roasted grain, reindeer moss);
• The Flying Scotsman (Bruichladdie Port Charlotte, dry vermouth, absinthe, champagne, fresh citrus, egg white, charcoal dust);
• Green Park (Botanist gin, celery bitters, fresh basil, fresh lemon, egg white, sugar syrup),
• and more.

This event is open to public.

A private American Bar experience.

For those who don’t want to rub shoulders with the hoi polloi, Erik Lorincz will also be available for private cocktail sessions on 19 March where he will prepare cocktails for guests in Fairmont’s Presidential Suite. There are three sessions available – 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm – with each session running 45 minutes and priced at S$95 per person.
