DAO of CRAFT Beer Pop Up

Experience the world of craft beer and more at DAO of CRAFT Beer, a craft beer pop-up on 20 February 2022 in At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy.

20 February will see culinary training institution At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy host Dao of Craft Beer, a mini festival and pop-up showcasing craft beers. Craft beer has recently exploded in popularity around the world, and Dao of Craft Beer will give you a glimpse into that unique beverage category and tie you into the passionate local beer-loving community.

During this full day of fun and educational activities, attendees can get to discover over 50 types of beers, explore curated beer-themed workshops, as well as get together with your friends for a beer and grub feast.

International beers featured at this beer pop-up include the likes of Perugia, Italy’s Birra Flea, which uses an innovative technology to condense water from the mountain air in the Apennine Mountains for making beer. Then there’s Bavikhove, Belgium’s De Brabandere, whose Bavik Super Pils is a multiple award winner. You’ll also find a range from North Coast Brewing; the California brewery will be showcasing, among others, its Old Rasputin Imperial Stout, a style of beer popularised by the court of Russia’s Catherine the Great. And from Scandinavia, there’s Norway’s Lervig and Amundsen, and Brekeriet from Sweden.

There’s local representation too; proudly Singaporean brewery The 1925 Brewing Co. will be offering their signature beers such as Liang Teh Beer, Tiramisu Stout and Yuzu Beer at the event.

For those looking to learn more about craft beer can participate in various workshops and masterclasses; fun activities include a beer and cheese pairing masterclass, a blind tasting adventure, and a mod-Asian beer discussion with The 1925 Brewing Co.

Tickets start from S$25 per person for the craft beer marketplace; each ticket comes with a tote bag, beer glass, and other assorted merchandise valued at S$50.
