Modern Spanish nose-to-tail restaurant Dehesa will be hosting a one night-only wine dinner on Wednesday 29 November 2017 at 7.30pm featuring the wines of Spain’s Vega Sicilia.
Vega Sicilia is a Spanish winery located in the Ribera del Duero Denominacion de Origen (DO) in Valladolid, Castilla y León, and has been considered as Ribera del Duero’s benchmark winery for over a century specialising in wines made fwith the Tempranillo grape. The dinner will showcase three wines from the renowned wine estate:
There’s also a Spanish cider – the Zapiain Sagardoa – as well as the La Copa vermouth from Gonzalez Byass to accompany the meal. As for food, guests will be presented with a roasted feast dinner experience curated by Chef Jean-Philippe Patruno of Dehesa. Highlights on the menu will include Roasted Quails with Burnt Leeks and Romanesco, Spit-Roasted Segovia Suckling Pig with Membrillo and 5 Weeks Aged Rib of Beef with Black Trompette and Crispy Potatoes.
