F&B purveyor Mead Asia is organising a special one-night only eight hands sake dinner on Thursday 27 June 2019 at contemporary Chinese restaurant Cassia in Capella Singapore that will feature sake from Heiwa Shuzo.
The exclusive gastronomic showcase will see a stellar partnership of four highly respected chefs – David Senia, Culinary Director of Capella Singapore; Lee Hiu Ngai, Executive Chinese Chef of Capella Singapore; Ryan Clift, Chef-owner of Tippling Club; and Kenichiro Yamauchi, Chef-owner of Restau K Yamauchi. Also in attendance will be Norimasa Yamamoto, fourth generation owner behind Wakayama Prefecture’s Heiwa Shuzo. Yamamoto is most renown for naming his signature sake ‘KID’, representing a new generation of sake brewers who are focusing on making sake of quality rather than in quantity.
This eight hands sake dinner by Mead – which brings in a wide range of sakes from Japan – will take you on a trip around the globe through an array of French, Japanese, European, and Chinese dishes. Experience a seven-course degustation menu designed by the chefs with fresh seasonal produce featuring their unique cooking styles, paired with the sakes of Heiwa. Guests can expect a line-up of extravagance including dishes like Sautéed Hokkaido scallop; Steamed egg white with handmade noodle, abalone, prawn and golden pumpkin sauce; and Kagoshima wagyu beef.
The full menu is given below.
This eight hands sake dinner costs $350++ per person (including sake pairing). To book a spot, call 6591 5045 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
