Ember Beach Club at One&Only Desaru Coast has announced a new gastronomic showcase series called EMBER CURATES. The inaugural edition – which will take place on 24 September – is EMBER CURATES: Andrew and Friends, which will see Michelin-starred chefs Andrew Walsh and Julien Royer helm the dinner.
The series will see Chef Andrew Walsh from one Michelin-starred modern Irish restaurant Cure, who is also responsible for the cuisine at Ember Beach Club, partner with guest chefs for collaborative dinners. The first to feature is, fittingly, Chef Julien Royer of multiple award-winning refined French restaurant Odette.
For this one-night only dinner showcase, chefs Walsh and Royer will put together a show-stopping lineup of modern European specialties guaranteed to titillate your palates. Expect this partnership of cooking styles to transform some of the finest produce from France and Ireland into culinary works of art.
You’re looking at the likes of Hand Dived Scallop ‘Au Naturel’ and Yuzu T’art, for example. Chef Royer will also present his signature Claudine Bouillabaisse, a distinct take on the hearty classic Provencal fish stew served at his newest French neo-brasserie concept, Claudine, in Singapore. Other dishes include Gallagher Irish Oyster, Butter Poached Lobster, Wagyu Beef Rossini.
“EMBER CURATES: Andrew and Friends marks our most significant event yet since borders have reopened and the ferries have begun sailing between Singapore and Desaru,” said Jerome Pichon, General Manager of One&Only Desaru Coast.
“We are delighted to celebrate the first of many editions of the EMBER CURATES series, starting with this special partnership showcasing the innovation of two incredibly accomplished chefs,” Pichon added.
