Part of Epicurean Market at Marina Bay Sands, this masterclass on Sunday 14 August 2016 from 6pm to 7pm takes participants through the history of ‘tiki culture’ and the cocktails spurred by it.
In this masterclass, db Bistro & Oyster Bar general manager Andrew Burns will give a brief history behind tiki culture and why db Bistro & Oyster Bar features tiki cocktails on its drinks menu. He will be joined by head barman Erlo Lusaya as well as general manager of spirits distributor Proof & Co. Zdenek Kastanek who will showcase the cocktail creations and providing detailed knowledge on the spirits used.
Guests will learn to make and sample cocktails such as the Conga Punch, the Zombie, the Champagne Sling, and the classic Mai Tai.
This masterclass will take place at The Grove in Epicurean Market and is open to anyone with a general entry ticket.
