Esquina will be hosting the Esquina San Fermin Alley Party, which will take place on Sunday 7 July 2019 featuring gourmet Spanish eats along with beer, sangria, and red wine.
Contemporary Spanish tapas bar Esquina will again be holding its popular Alley Party, and this year San Fermín – the world famous, week-long “Running of the Bulls” festival held in Pamplona, Spain – will be this year’s party theme. While no rampaging bulls will be released, Jiak Chuan Road will be transformed into a fully-fledged Spanish backstreet for one day for the celebrations.
In terms of food, party-goers are in for a real treat. With gourmet produce provided by Culina and Phoon Huat, Head Chef Carlos Montobbio and Esquina’s culinary team will whip up an array of exciting tapas bites, along with guest chefs Aitor Orive of Basque Kitchen by Aitor (himself a true blue Basque cuisine expert) and Botanico at The Garage’s Sujatha Asokan, a former Esquina team member and one of the leading female chefs in Singapore.
Once all that feasting is over, guzzle down Estrella Galicia beer and Esquina’s Modern & Classic Sangria, along with plenty of red wine, and groove to an eclectic mix of Latino and Balearic beats by DJ Daryl Epimaco, aka The Lone Crow; who will spin a variety of sub-genres such as Latin Soul, Latin Hip Hop, Latin Beats, and Latin House.
The party’s dress code will be red and white. Free t-shirts will be handed out to early bird ticket holders – bonus points for those who come dressed as a bull!
