Eureka! Beer Celebration

Beer lovers visit Singapore’s largest beer festival Beerfest Asia for the widest range of beers available in a single event, but true craft beer connoisseurs will really be most interested in a far smaller one – Eureka! Beer Celebration.
Held on Saturday 30 July 2016 from 4.30pm to 11.30pm at Red Baron in Gillman Barracks, Eureka! Beer Celebration is organised by craft beer importer Applehops who – in a similar vein when it celebrated its second anniversary earlier this year – will be bringing an eye-popping range of beers many of which has never been seen before in Singapore officially.
Beers available on draft include the likes of breweries Alpha State, Perennial, Alesmith, Sahtipaja, Brewski, Omnipollo, Brekeriet, Buxton and Weird Beard, the first five of which have never been in Singapore on tap before. Beers confirmed so far include:
- Alesmith Speedway Hammerhead
- Buxton/Omnipollo Chocolate Pale Ale
- Omnipollo Olympus Mons
- Sahtipaja Passionista
- B.Nektar Dwarf Invasion
- Cloudwater Spring/Summer Citra
- Alpha State Raspberry Cheesecake IPA
These beers are available on a 1-keg basis hence will be first-come, first-serve only.
There will also be a bottle shop, which will sell many seasonal and limited edition bottled beers from 6.30pm for takeaway and consumption on-site. Beers showcased include those from breweries such as Hoppin’ Frog, Westbrook, Wicked Weed, 3Fonteinen, Crooked Stave, Omnipollo, Sahtipaja and Cloudwater most of which has never been available in Singapore.
Aside from the beers, there would be food vendors as well as entertainment for the night.
Each regular ticket $35 per person, and includes entry to the celebration, the festival programme, a branded celebration glass (free to bring home), and beer stamps for 2 free beers. All beers at $10 per glass unless otherwise stated.
