Gambero Rosso Top Italian Wines Roadshow 2019

Italian wine authority Gambero Rosso will be holding its Top Italian Wines Roadshow 2019 wine extravaganza this coming May. Held on Monday 6 May 2019 from 12pm to 7.30pm at CHIJMES, this 2019 edition will again be showcasing some of finest Italy wine producers across its various winemaking regions.
Gambero Rosso’s Top Italian Wines Roadshow is one of the most highly anticipated wine events in Singapore’s wine calendar. Gambero Rosso – the “Michelin Guide” of Italian wine – will bring together 60 highly-esteemed Italian wineries, including 10 Prosecco producers, each of whom will present a range of their finest wines. Some of these wines have been rated Gambero Rosso’s Tre Bicchieri (‘three glasses’) mark, denoting of the finest quality. Expect wineries like Tuscany’s Marchesi Antinori and Tenuta Sette Ponti, prosecco specialists Ruggeri, Amarone makers Allegrini and Tommasi, Marche’s Velenosi, Sicily’s Tenuta Gorghi Tondi, as well as Emilia Romagna’s Medici Ermete.
The wine exhibition is open to members of the trade from 12.30pm, and for the public from 5pm. The event ends at 7.30pm.
Top Italian Wines Roadshow 2019 masterclasses
Visitors to the show will also be able to participate in a line-up of masterclasses for an intimate knowledge and tastings on a sterling selection of Italian wines throughout the day. The masterclasses will be conducted by renowned wine expert, Marco Sabellico, Senior Editor-in-Chief of Vini D’Italia.
There are four different masterclasses throughout the day: 10am to 11.30am, 12.30pm to 2pm, 3pm to 4.30pm, and 5.30pm to 6.40pm. Each masterclass costs S$28; there are bundle discounts if participants want to sign up for multiple masterclasses (7% off for 2 masterclasses, 15% for 3, and 17% off for all 4).
