[Gin Jubilee] East Imperial Gin Lane Singapore

This grand finale event of East Imperial Gin Jubilee 2018 – held on Saturday 8 December 2018 from 5pm to 11.30pm at 30 Maxwell Road – is a garden soiree style event that will see all bartenders from this year’s Gin Jubilee participating bars will be presenting their gin and tonics in one spot.

This year will see Gin Lane attempt to beat last year’s record of over 5,500-and-some G&Ts served, but with a goal of generating zero waste. This year Gin Lane will uniquely feature drink- and dining-ware produced using the eco packaging technology by Singapore outfit TRIA. Their Bio24 food waste recycling programme, which will be activated during Gin Lane, will convert food and cocktail garnish scraps, cups and cutlery collected on the night into rich organic fertiliser that can be put back into the earth.

Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own mugs to Gin Lane this year; standard tickets to the event are S$20 (you get a metal East Imperial cup and a bamboo straw), but if you bring your own mug you get a discounted entry of S$15.
