Kawatsuru “Wisdom” sake dinner

Wildfire Chicken and Burgers at Savourworld will be hosting a special sake pairing dinner on Wednesday 17 January 2018 from 6.30pm to 10pm featuring the sakes of Kawatsuru.
If you’re not familiar with Kawatsuru – whose sakes are distributed in Singapore by Inter Rice Asia – the sake brewery is known for making a rice-driven style with an elegant and rich texture, soulful and structured without being high-tone or showy. They use almost exclusively locally grown rice as well. It’s also unconventional in that it’s one of the few breweries with a female toji (head sake maker).
The casual chicken and burger joint will be putting together a special food menu to pair with the sakes from the Kagawa Prefecture-based Japanese sake brewery, and brewery representative Kazufumi Sakaya will be on hand to share more about the sakes that diners will be tasting. The menu is as follows:
