As part of the Visa Infinite Gourmet series of dining events, Michelin-starred modern Singapore restaurant Labyrinth will be hosting a special sake dinner called “A Culinary Exploration at Labyrinth with the sakes of DAN” on Tuesday 20 August at 7pm.
Helmed by celebrated local chef LG Han, the dishes of Labyrinth reflect his sensorial expression of his childhood food memories and in-depth understanding of local ingredients and traditional kitchen techniques. For this special Labyrinth sake dinner, Chef Han’s will be paired with sakes from new premium sake brand DAN that’s produced by Sasaichi Brewery from Japan’s Yamanashi Prefecture.
DAN sakes are made using underground water from Mount Fuji and some of the best sake rice – Yamadanishiki, Bizen Omachi and Gohyakumangoku – Japan has to offer. For this dinner, the sakes to be tasted are:
