Manhattan American Whiskey Embassy: Manhattan Maker’s Mark Private Select Bourbon edition

Grand hotel bar Manhattan at Regent Singapore will unveil its custom finished Manhattan Maker’s Mark Private Select Bourbon in a special Manhattan American Whiskey Embassy on Wednesday 25 March 2020.

For Manhattan’s upcoming American Whiskey Embassy – its series of events celebrating American whiskies – it will be showcasing a special customised bourbon made in collaboration with Maker’s Mark. The Manhattan Maker’s Mark Private Select Bourbon is the first-ever custom bourbon made by a bar in Asia under Maker’s Mark Private Select programme.

The Maker’s Mark Private Select programme allows its bourbons to be specially customised in an additional maturation process using different proprietary wood staves. For the Manhattan Maker’s Mark Private Select Bourbon, the Manhattan bar and floor team selected a combination of 10 wood-finishing staves for the maturation process. The result is a full-flavoured approachable bourbon that rounds off with a hint of chocolatey spice.

Manhattan will be using part of the 240-bottle yield in its cocktail programme as well as in whiskey tasting flights. Be one of the first to taste Manhattan Maker’s Mark Private Select Bourbon in this Manhattan American Whiskey Embassy session.

The Manhattan American Whiskey Embassy: Manhattan Maker’s Mark Private Select Bourbon edition costs $118++ per person and comes with one welcome drink, a Maker’s Mark tasting flight, light bites and a cocktail.

Limited bottles of the Manhattan Maker’s Mark Private Select Bourbon will be made available for sale at $288++ per bottle.
