Marques de Casa Concha presents: Peranakan Cuisine & Fine Wine Masterclass

To celebrate the coming National Day, award-winning Chilean wine brand Marques de Casa Concha will be paying tribute to local food with a special cooking and wine pairing masterclass featuring Peranakan cuisine.

The “Peranakan Cuisine & Fine Wine Masterclass” will take place on Wednesday 7 August and will see guests cook their own Peranakan dishes under the watchful eye of Chef Tinoq Goh, before sitting down to sample the dishes and learning how to pair these vibrant and complex flavours with the many different wines from Marques de Casa Concha.

The menu for the evening has been carefully curated to cover the full range of flavours and pairings including Ayam Limau Purut, chicken simmered in a light and aromatic coconut sauce infused with Kaffir lime leaves, Sotong Hitam, fresh squid cooked in squid ink garnished with onions, red and green chilies and Prawn Sambal Tumis, sautéed fresh large sea prawns cooked in a spicy and sweet tamarind sauce.
