Monkey Shoulder x Tippling Club Block Party

Monkey Shoulder and Tippling Club present the ‘Monkey Shoulder x Tippling Club Block Party’, a party designed to bring out the playful artist in you, in celebration of Monkey Shoulder’s bold new visual identity.
On 15 December 2019, Tippling Club will be hosting playful whisky brand Monkey Shoulder – remember their Konga shakers? – for a special party featuring plenty of whisky cocktails, street art and some good ol’ tattoo fun. The centrepiece of the party will be a 8m x 4m wall mural by Ben Qwek of LAB SIX FIVE adorning the exterior wall of Tippling Club showcasing Monkey Shoulder’s new visual style, while resident tattoist Joe Wang from 8 Volts Studio and Ocean of Ocean Studios will also be on hand to ink any patron game to flaunt and bare their skin.
But for cocktail hounds it’s the special Monkey Shoulder cocktails by Andre Walters and Daniel Noble from Sydney-based award-winning cocktail bar, Old Mates Place, and three unique cocktails specially created for the event courtesy of Tippling Club’s Head-Bartender Andrew Loudon, that will be the stars of this party.
The party is to celebrate Monkey Shoulder’s new brand identity – the blended malt whisky within the bottle hasn’t changed – with a new look that’s inspired by iconic poster art and designed to bring the brand’s cheeky and playful personality to life in a bold and distinctive new visual style. The creative features strong lines, graphics, colours, and emulates screen-printed art with a playful Monkey Shoulder twist through illustrations, splashes and type.
“Monkey Shoulder stands for something that is authentically different and playful, and this new brand visual identity brings to life who we truly are as a brand. As a free-spirited blended malt, our brand exists to give people a playful reminder that life doesn’t always have to be dull and conventional. With our new brand identity, we hope to make Monkey Shoulder even more accessible to all, and introduce Scotch to a new generation of drinkers,” said Jay Gray, Monkey Shoulder Brand Ambassador for Southeast Asia.
The ‘Monkey Shoulder x Tippling Club Block Party’ will take place on Sunday 15 December 2019 from 2pm to 10pm at 38 Tanjong Pagar Road, Singapore 088461.
