“N” Sake & Juyondai International sake and wine dinner

In collaboration with wine distributor Schmidt Vinothek, modern French restaurant Gunther’s will be hosting a special sake and wine pairing dinner on 10 June 2017 at 6.30pm featuring the sakes of “N” Sake and cult sake brand Juyondai from Takagi Shuzo.

Juyondai is possibly one of Japan’s best known premium sake brands; headed by master brewer Akitsuna Takagi of Takagi Shuzo, the brewery from Japan’s Yamagata prefecture employs a special proprietary methos of brewing sake called Tatsu no Otoshigo. “N” Sake is actually a sake brand founded by Hidetoshi Nakata – yes, Japanese international footballer who played multiple seasons in Italy’s Series A – produced at Takagi Shuzo.

This five-course wine and sake pairing dinner will be guided by Hidetoshi Nakata and Akitsuna Takagi themselves, which will feature the latest vintage of “N” sake. The dinner costs $388++ per person. To book a spot, call Gunther’s at 6338 8955 or email restaurant@gunthers.com.sg.
