Soon-to-open Japanese restaurant Noka will be taking over the kitchen at sister outlet Open Farm Community on 13 June 2019 for a special one-night dinner with sake pairing.
Noka is Spa Esprit Group’s first Japanese restaurant. Noka head chef Seki Takuma will be helming Open Farm Community‘s kitchen and combining authentic Japanese culinary techniques with locally grown produce for a special five-course menu. Noka, which comes complete with its own rooftop urban farm and will open at newly-renovated Funan Mall this July, looks to amalgamate Japanese techniques with sustainably sourced produce from Japan and Singapore. For example, the meal will feature the first sashimi grade prawns ever grown in Singapore, herbs from Edible Garden City.
There’s an option for a sake pairing for this Noka kitchen takeover as well, showcasing sakes from Niigata Prefecture where Chef Seki hails from). Sakes include those from Manotsuru, Kinshihaii, and Kubota.
This special Noka kitchen takeover dinner at Open Farm Community costs S$89++ per person, and an additional S$55++ for the optional sake pairing. To book a spot, call 6471 0306 or email enquiries@ofcsingapore.com.sg.
