MONTI will be hosting a wine dinner on Tuesday 24 August 2021 featuring the wines of Lazio’s Ômina Romana as part of 1-Group’s annual wine extravaganza Wine Lust.
Award-winning waterfront Italian restaurant MONTI at 1-Pavilion will be hosting an exclusive six-course wine dinner that will showcase the wines of Ômina Romana as paired with its elegant Italian fare.
For those unfamiliar with Ômina Romana, the family-run winery is based around 40km outside of Rome in Lazio, and produces mainly wines from international grape varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Viognier. Ômina Romana wines are known for being terroir forward while adopting a more modern approach.
The wines to be showcased at this MONTI wine dinner are:
The Hermes Diactoros II 2018 – an interesting Viognier, Pentit Manseng, Bellone, and Icrocio Manzoni blend – will be paired with seasonal White Asparagus, for example, while the Cesanese will be matched against an Australian Livingstone Wagyu Oyster Blade 9+. The full wine pairing menu is available here.
This one-night only Ômina Romana wine dinner at MONTI takes place on Tuesday 24 August 2021 at 6pm. It costs $180++ per person including wine pairing. You can book your seats here.
