Once Upon A Time In London

Award-winning restaurant bar Tippling Club will be hosting Marcis Dzelzainis from London’s Sager + Wilde for Once Upon A Time In London, happening on Wednesday 27 February 2019 from 7pm.

Regarded as one of the leading tastemakers in London’s bar scene, wine-centric Sager + Wilde also serves up timeless cocktails and experimental concoctions that appeal for both intimate interactions and drink connoisseurs. It was most recently crowned “Best International Restaurant Bar” at the 2018 Spirited Awards.

Supported by Diageo, bar director Marcis Dzelzainis will be in town for “Once Upon A Time in London”, a one-night only recreation of the Sager + Wilde experience at Tippling Club. This event – part of its Once Upon A Time series of soirees – will feature cocktails tailored by Dzelzainis that will be paired with five original modern interpretations of traditional English dishes.

Dzelzainis himself has been involved in various leading watering holes over the years. This includes stints as General Manager at Mr Lyan’s spot in the Mondrian Hotel, Dandelyan, as well as Bethnal Green’s classic date spot, Satan’s Whiskers. So yes, he knows a thing or two about making cocktails, and creating special drinks experiences.
