Potato Head Singapore will be celebrating Dia de los Muertos – Mexico’s iconic Day of the Dead holiday – on Thursday 2 November 2017 from 8pm to late with a party that will combine Calaveras-inspired face painting and heady cocktail specials all-night long, together with a burger collaboration with Chef Bjorn Shen of Artichoke and Bird Bird.
Specially concocted tequila-based cocktails include ‘La Calavera Catrina’ (pictured), a peppery creation featuring Codigo 1530 Rosa tequila, agave syrup and lime. Chef Adam of Three Buns and Chef Bjorn of Artichoke/Bird Bird have collaborated to create a special burger that will be popping up at Bird Bird and Potato Head Singapore over two weekends- The Bird Bun ($16) combines the best of both eateries with Thai-fried Sakura chicken thigh, nam jim slaw and coconut mayo, all in a toasted rice bun.
