Robert Parker Wine Advocate’s Matter of Taste Singapore 2018

Wine authority Robert Parker Wine Advocate will be kicking off the fifth instalment of its signature wine event Matter of Taste in Singapore on Saturday 25 August 2018 from 12noon to 5pm at Regent Singapore‘s Grand Pavilion Ballroom.

This walkabout wine tasting event features a walkabout tasting showcasing over 300 prestigious and iconic wines rated 90 Robert Parker (RP) points and above – including a number of exceptional ones rated RP100 – complete with expert masterclasses and a series of wine pairing dinners hosted by world-renowned winemakers and Wine Advocate reviewers.

This wine tasting session will take you on a wine journey across the globe – from Alentejo, Alsace, Barossa, Basilicata, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Campania, Catalonia, Central Otago, Champagne, Chile, Friuli, Douro, Hawke’s Bay, Languedoc, Lombardy, Margaret River, McLaren Vale, Maipo, Marlborough, Mendoza, Neuchatel, Napa, Oregon, Piedmont, Penedès, Priorat, Rhône, Rias Baixas, Rioja, Santa Barbara, San Francisco Bay, Sardinia, Sicily, Sonoma, Trentino, Tuscany, Umbria, Walker Bay, to Washington and other wine regions – that showcases the great diversity of the wine world. Highly sought-after and top-rated labels include 1941 Kopke Colheita Tawny Port (RP 97), 2014 Harlan Estate Proprietary Red Wine (RP 98) and 2010 Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino Cerretalto (RP 100).

Matter of Taste Singapore 2018 will also play host to six exclusive wine tasting masterclasses on 25 August and three exclusive wine dinners across the weekend. The masterclasses will be conducted by winemakers from established wineries, as well as international wine reviewers from the Wine Advocate – Joe Czerwinski and Erin Brooks.
