Samai rum masterclass with SPRMRKT Cambodia

SPRMRKT at STPI is hosting an exclusive cocktail Samai rum masterclass on Saturday 9 March 2019 from 4-6pm. This event is part of SPRMRKT Cambodia, SPRMRKT’s month-long festival of celebrating all things Cambodian.

Samai ambassador Sola Engele – who is also Latvia’s leading mixologist – will be on hand to introduce Cambodia’s first and only premium rum distillery, as well as its aromatic and delicious rum blends that pay tribute to the unique Cambodian terroir. Sola will take cocktail enthusiasts and industry insiders through a degustation menu featuring signature Samai-crafted concoctions that brings out the best of indigenous Cambodian ingredients and flavours with modern-day mixology.

For example, the Khmer Dragon is a delicious Samai rum-based concoction presented in a vibrant blush of pink from the red dragon fruit — one of Cambodia’s many indigenous fruits — that makes for a tropical treat.
