[Singapore Craft Beer Week] City Nomads Pokémon GO Bar Crawl

As part of Singapore Craft Beer Week, online lifestyle guide City Nomads will be organising a Pokémon GO bar crawl on Wednesday 24th August from 6.30pm that will see participants hit five craft beer bars in one evening.

Pokémon GO bar crawls have become very popular in the United States when the mobile game sensation was initially launched, but this is the first time that such an event is held in Singapore. The idea here is very simple: visit five different bar venues, drink craft beers, and catch Pokémon along the way.

The journey will start with a bang at craft beer hawker stall Smith Street Taps with their Triple Tap Takeover (Anderson Valley Brewing Company, Heretic Brewing Company, and Holgate Brewhouse) before heading to Park Bench Deli – they’re going Japanese! – for a sandwich with a beer. Then continue exploring the Telok Ayer neighbourhood with the convivial drinking haus Freehouse and NYC implant burger joint Singapore. Finally finish the night at SoCal inspired bar, Draft & Craft.

For $45 per person, you get a beer at each venue plus a big fat sandwich at Park Bench Deli). There will be Pokémon GO lures set at each stop when you’re there, and there’s also enough walking distance to hatch a two km egg. On top of the Pokestops on the way and lures at the respective bars, you’ll also be getting five beers and a hearty snack to keep catching them all.
