Southeast Asian Spirits Exploration at NATIVE

Founder of cocktail bar NATIVE, Vijay Mudaliar will be hosting a special spirits masterclass on Saturday 6 May 2017 from 4pm to 6pm featuring various spirits sourced from around Asia.

Mudaliar is well-known for his love for urban foraging and quest for sustainability, and champions the locavore spirit at his cocktail bar, NATIVE. In the first of the bar’s Spirits Exploration series, he will talk participants through a tasting of Paper Lantern Gin from Singapore, Ceylon Arrack from Sri Lanka, and Amrut Whisky from India, and the stories behind these brands. He will also share his knowledge and experiences from his travels around the region to source for produce and products, and quests around Singapore for ingredients and inspiration for his cocktails.
