Dario Cecchini will be hosting a culinary workshop and weekend brunch this November.

Modern Italian steakhouse Bottega di Carna at Mondrian Singapore Duxton will be hosting legendary Italian butcher Dario Cecchini for a boozy brunch on Saturday 23 November 2024.

Mondrian Singapore Duxton flagship restaurant Bottega di Carna will be welcoming founder Dario Cecchini back this month, and among the activities lined up will be fun culinary workshop and weekend brunch experience hosted by the legendary Tuscan master butcher held on Saturday 23 November from 12pm to 3pm.

Catch the world’s most famous butcher – Cecchini has been featured in many food-centric television documentaries, including an episode of Netflix’s food documentary series Chef’s Table – in his first return since he opened Bottega di Carna in Singapore last year, and learn direct from the eighth-generation butcher how to render down a quality cut of meat and prepare into a steak tartare, Dario-style.

The premium cuts of beef have themselves been directly flown in from Spain’s Viñals Soler, farms lauded for their commitment to animal welfare and quality meat used in Dario Cecchini’s Panzano restaurant Antica Macelleria Cecchini’s own sustainable, nose-to-tail cooking.

Aside from the steak tartare, this boozy brunch will also feature signature traditional dishes from Dario’s own recipes, with starters like burrata pugliese with cherry tomatoes and fritto misto, and proscuitto di parma with melon, while diners can opt for a main of either stockyard ribeye steak, French chicken, or Atlantic seabass served with a spread of sides. For dessert there’s the restaurant’s signature tiramisu, Sicilian cannoli, and Dario’s olive cake.

This Dario Cecchini-graced culinary workshop and brunch promises an engaging and flavourful experience that’s ideal for any food enthusiast and those keen to hone their culinary skills.
