The Malt Affair Vol. 5
December 14, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm$50
Just like that, The Malt Affair is now on Vol.5 and this edition marks the second anniversary of the event.
To mark the occasion, they have selected three whiskies to be bottled: a 21YO Ardmore, 1998 Jura and a 2009 Heaven Hill, which you no doubt can try at the show as well. Like previous shows, this cozy affair looks set to be an excellent showcase of whiskies young and old; vintage and modern. You can view the full list of whiskies featured here.
As an indication of how far the show has come, world-renowned whisky bar The Auld Alliance will make its debut at Vol. 5, joining an already stellar list of exhibitors. This will also be the first TMA to feature tasting sessions.
Port Charlotte Micro Provenance #8
The Micro Provenance tastings are an ongoing examination of flavour variations borne out of barley and cask, demonstrating the diversity possible when you focus on the raw ingredients.
Tickets are priced at $50. You’ll also receive a $20 voucher for any bottle purchase valid only for the entire course of TMA Vol. 5. All drams are in 1.5 cl pours.
Hosted by The Collectors, experience a beautiful session of OBs from the Macallan, Bowmore, Lagavulin and Laphroaig distillery. If you wonder why there is so much hype about old whiskies, then this is the perfect way to find out.
