Wine Fiesta, Singapore’s largest annual outdoor wine festival, is back again for its 2015 edition. Presented by regional wine importer and distributor The Straits Wine Company for the eighth year running, Wine Fiesta 2015 takes place from 22 to 25 October at Clifford Square (besides the Fullerton Bay Hotel) and will showcase over 350 wine labels from 82 winemakers from around the world to delight wine enthusiasts of any level.
In honour of Singapore’s jubilee year Wine Fiesta will celebrate its 2015 edition with the theme of “Singapore-style food, wine & music”, and have roped in four renowned Singaporean chefs and local music talents to provide the added dimension of gastronomic delights and entertainment to complete the experience for guests at the fiesta this year.
“With over 350 labels present at this year’s Wine Fiesta it was tough to select noteworthy wines for guests to try. We have painstakingly curated the selection below to represent a cross-section of wines reds, whites, old world and new world that both aficionados and beginners can enjoy for their surprising qualities, rich characteristics and bold flavours,” adds Moritz Deyle, Deputy Head of Sales & Sommelier, The Straits Wine Company.

Wines on hand include the multiple award-winning organic AIX Rosé 2014 with two illustrious Gold Medals under its belt in the 2015 grand tastings in France, the Viña Pedrosa “Gran Reserva” 2006 from Ribera del Duero region in Spain, the Castello di Brolio Chianti Classico Grand Selezione 2011 from Tuscany, and the lovely Max Ferdinand Richter Spätlese Brauneberger Juffer 2008 of Mosel, Germany.
Four renowned Singaporean chefs, Malcom Lee from Candlenut, Bjorn Shen from Artichoke, Matthew Mok from The Rabbit Stash and Cheryl Koh from Tarte by Cheryl Koh will each be presenting three original dishes specially created for this event and these will be paired with selected wines. Guests may purchase the dishes at the event and these include highlights such as Beef cheek rendang burger with achar and cheddar cheese (Chef Matthew Mok), Grilled buah keluak & garlic and chilli sausages, mustard greens (Chef Malcolm Lee), Cherry cheesecake creamsicle (Chef Bjorn Shen) and Chouquettes with dark chocolate and lemon curd dip (Chef Cheryl Koh).
