As part of 1-Group’s Wine Lust Journeys series of events this year, contemporary Italian restaurant MONTI will be hosting a Manjimup truffle dinner on Tuesday 14 August 2018 from 7pm to 10pm featuring Barolo wines from esteemed Piedmont, Italy-based winery Renato Corino.
Barolo fans will be mesmerised by the wines of Renato Corino, whose vineyards stand amidst the prized La Morra crus of Rocche dell’Annunziata, Arborina and Pozzo, producing some of the best Nebbiolo-based wines. This wine dinner is a special one-night only event by Chef Christopher Millar from Stellar at 1-Altitude and MONTI’s Chef Felix Chong who will showcase a menu that brings out the best pairings of decadent fresh Manjimup black truffles from Australia and the wines of Renato Corino. Alan “AL” Blakers, the founding family member of Manjimup Truffles, will be on hand to share about the truffles.
