The Art of Tasting Champagne

Join Chateau Asia at a champagne tasting session on Wednesday 2 December 2015 from 7 to 9pm at Tower Club where the private wine sales company’s team of wine experts take you through a tasting of six different champagnes.
During the evening, Chateau Asia’s wine experts will answer questions such as:
- Are champagne all the same?
- What is a Blanc de Blancs?
- Is price important when it comes to champagne?
- Who was Dom Pérignon?
- Why do we celebrate only with champagne?
They will be featuring six different champagnes for tasting:
- Charles du Roy NV: One of their best sellers, developed for the Asian palate;
- Pol Roger: Sir Winston Churchill’s favourite bubbles;
- Taittinger Prelude: Multi awarded, fantastic balance, unique;
- Ruinart Rosé: The first ‘Maison’ (house) to produce Rosé, exceptional taste;
- Ruinart Blanc de Blancs: The essence of the Maison Ruinart, the best champagne you never heard of; and
- Krug: The iconic champagne.
The champagnes will be paired with food from the Tower Club.
Tickets are $115, but if you register before 23 November you get early bird pricing at $95.
