Maker’s Mark Distillery Experience

From July 3rd to 6th, Maker’s Mark will take over Scotts 27, right here in the heart of the city.

The Maker’s Mark Pop-Up Bar will boast four immersive experience rooms, an eye-catching Maker’s Mark cocktail bar, and an outdoor lawn area.

In keeping with experiential nature of whiskey events these days, the four rooms showcase the four ‘W’s that define Maker’s Mark. In the Wood room, you’ll learn how the cooperages at Maker’s Mark are run and how the barrel ageing process works. Guests will be able to personalise their own wooden coasters as well. In the Wheat room, you’ll learn about red winter wheat, which Maker’s Mark uses in place of rye and gives it its own personality, and munch on some doughnuts made with the same wheat. Likewise, the Water room features the limestone water that is used. The Wax room will recreate the red wax, hand dipping process still used to this day to form one of the most recognisable features of a Maker’s Mark bourbon. This is an experience that you typically have to go the distillery for. Try for a slam dunk if you can (If you know, you know).

“This is the first time Maker’s Mark is bringing the experience of our distillery to Singapore and we can’t wait for everyone to connect with the heritage and craftsmanship of our beloved bourbon,” said Jane Bowie, Director of Maker’s Mark Private Select and Diplomat Program. “We’re extremely proud that every drop of Maker’s Mark is made the same way today as it was by our founders in the very beginning!”

And to commemorate Independence Day (the American one, not the movie), the event will showcase a Maker’s Mark cocktail bar serving a wide variety of Maker’s Mark cocktails, which will be accompanied by a range of hearty American fare at the outdoor lawn area.

The Maker’s Mark Pop-Up Bar will be at Scotts 27 from Wednesday, July 3rd, to Saturday, July 6th. The bar is operational from 6PM to 11PM.
