Sicilian restaurant Gattopardo Ristorante di Mare will be hosting a wine dinner on Saturday 20 May 2017 at 7pm that will feature the red wines of Friuli, Italy-based winery Moschioni.
What’s interesting about Moschioni, located in the Friuli region of northeast Italy, is that it focuses on making only red wines in an area that is far more renown for its white wines. Michele Moschioni works indigenous varietals such as Pignolo, Schioppettino, Refosco, and Tazzelenghe in Friuli’s Colli Orientali to fashion some of the most highly regarded red wines in Italy.
