Once Upon A Time In Thailand

Award-winning restaurant bar Tippling Club will be hosting ‘Once Upon A Time In Thailand’ on Wednesday 17 July 2019 featuring Pitchayapong “Tum” Joongklang from The Bamboo Bar for a one-night only bar takeover.
The Bamboo Bar (pictured) is ranked No. 8 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars and No. 55 in World’s 100 Best Bars, and for this bar takeover Tum – as he’s better known in the cocktail industry – will be showcasing five drinks that are part of The Bamboo Bar’s signature cocktail menu. Supported by William Grant & Sons and Monkey Shoulder, each cocktail is inspired by a region in Thailand; Birds, Bees and the Trees is inspired by Thailand’s northeastern region of Isan, and is concocted with Monkey Shoulder, bee pollen, safflower, and sunflower seeds.
There’s also the Rosiri, a take on the French 75 a sweet combination of Hendricks, strawberry, Thai basil, and discarded champagne. Fans of rum-based drinks will like the Hawker, a mix of Milagro, coconut, lemongrass, kefir lime, and ginger.
The senior bartender from The Bamboo Bar was recently crowned winner of Thailand’s Diplimatico 2019 Go Local Challenge.
‘Once Upon A Time In Thailand’ will start from 7.30pm onwards on Wednesday 17 July 2019.
