wanderwine Wine Haven – Nino Franco

Online wine retail site wanderwine is organising its third edition of Wine Haven, which will take place at Praelum Wine Bistro on Saturday 21 May 2016 at 3pm and will feature the proseccos of Valdobbiadene, Vento-based winery Nino Franco.
Primo Franco, winemaker of Nino Franco will be on hand from 3 to 4.30pm to take participants through their exceptional Prosecco di Valdobbiadene. In the early nineties Primo Franco experimented with new planting techniques, including planting old clones of Glera, which gave way to the production of the Grave di Stecca Prosecco. Wines showcased are:
- Nino Franco Rustico Prosecco NV
- Nino Franco Primo Franco 2014
- Nino Franco Grave Di Stecca 2011
The cuvees will be accompanied by cheese, tapas, and cold cuts from Praelum.
