Malaysia’s premier whisky and spirits tasting event, WhiskyPLUS, returns for its 2023 – and its fifth-ever – Kuala Lumpur edition.
Organised by TEGMedia, WhiskyPLUS 2023 will be held at Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur on Saturday 9 September 2023, and is set to be a one-day extravaganza of whisky and spirits tasting targeted at serious aficionados and novice enthusiasts alike.
This year the much-anticipated event takes place over two sessions – each featuring an array of whiskies and other spirits from various participating brand owners, along with Malaysia’s top spirits importers, distributors, and retailers – where participants can embark on a journey of unlimited tasting and spirits exploration. With dozens of brands expected to participate, including independent bottlings and new-to-market expressions, whisky enthusiasts will be delighted to find familiar favourites alongside exciting discoveries.
Whisky lovers will want to find themselves at the highly popular Collector’s Corner, which boasts a unique selection of exceptional, purchase-by-the-dram old and rare whiskies, some of which are truly one-of-a-kind offerings. New at the WhiskyPLUS 2023 edition is a series of masterclasses by The Whisky Ambassador, UK’s only accredited whisky certification program. Available to VIP guests, these masterclasses offer an exclusive opportunity to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of the world of whisky.
Aside from these spirited offerings, WhiskyPLUS 2023 will also offer an expansive selection of non-alcoholic options in between for refreshment, as well as a cigar booth for cigar lovers. Participants can also opt for an unforgettable weekend staycation package at Eastin to complete their experience.
