To celebrate its second anniversary, craft beer distributor Applehops will be holding a birthday beer bash on 16 January 2016 from 4pm at Red Baron in Gillman Barracks.

Applehops – which officially distributes the likes of Weird Beard, Beavertown, Siren Craft Brew, and Brew by Numbers from the UK, Omnipollo from Sweden, and more – will be tapping an extensive list of beers on draft, many of which will be in Singapore for the first time.

In fact, Applehops will be officially featuring beers from highly-rated breweries Oskar Blues of Longmont, Colorado, and Firestone Walker from Pasa Robles, California, as well as beers and meads from B.Nektar of Ferndale, Michigan. We also understand that they are currently in talks with the lauded Jester King from Austin, Texas, and yet one more unconfirmed brewery, making the beer bash a must-go for beer aficionados.

Besides beers on taps, the craft beer distributor will also be setting aside for sale limited-edition and one-off rarity bottles for takeaway during the event, as well as merchandise such as T-shirts from various breweries.

All ticket holders are also automatically entered into a lucky draw to win specially autographed T-shirts from Beavertown (signed by owner Logan Plant) and Omnipollo (signed by brewers/owners Henok Fentie and Karl Grandin). More prizes will be added at a later stage. Each ticket also entitles you to two free tasters as well as a commemorative glass.

Growler service will be provided towards the latter part of the evening where selected beers will be sold at only $16.
